I will say that this is THE company you want to hire if you need packing and storage of your very precious items for an affordable price. Eric, Bethaney, and the rest of the HuberWilmot team were amazing and took great care of all my household items. I requested their help to move some items from my personal storage facility and home into their private storage facility while I awaited pick up by the shipping company. Bethaney was extremely helpful and responsive as we worked through the scheduling, storage, and payment process. When the movers showed up, they were very efficient and courteous as we worked to pack my things from two separate locations. Eric was absolutely amazing!! He worked with the shipping company to schedule the pickup of my items and ensured everything was secured, packed, and transferred into the shipping container. We had a few hiccups but, he was sure to keep me abreast of any issues he encountered. Definitely a man that works well under pressure as he remained very cool on shipping day when the hiccups occurred. While I was miles away freaking out lol! Thank you for handling everything Eric, much appreciated!I was totally expecting this move to be a big headache, but HuberWilmot made everything so easy and stress free. If I could give them 10 Stars I would!! I am so thankful for all the time and attention they provided with this move.read more

These folks know what they’re doing. From the first call, the in-person inventory, and the prompt estimate, I knew they were professional. We even received boxes on a Sunday delivered by the owner. Napoleon and his five associates worked hard to protect both homes, our furniture, and stay safe from COVID. They disassembled our elliptical and all beds then reassembled them. Boxes were moved to their labeled location and they even relocated a couple rugs twice when then didn’t fit. We would hire them again.read more

Had a really great recent experience with HuberWilmot for a local move in northern Virginia. After submitting the quote request form online, I was connected to Bethaney who never hesitated to answer the many questions I had and offered advice on what to do regarding items of furniture I was unsure how to pack. She was an excellent first impression of the company and was available via both email and phone as I realized I had more questions (during COVID, I wasn't leaving anything to chance and she explained all of their protocols in place!). On the day of the move, Bryan and Israel arrived in masks at the start of the estimated timeframe. As soon as they arrived, they were so fast and efficient. Even with asking them to wrap some furniture items for us (most of the move was pre-packed and ready for their arrival), they had all items out of the first location in just over an hour which included the use of an elevator and loading dock. They were incredibly courteous and careful and asked questions of everything they were unsure of (ie- if certain items were meant to move or not... we did have some items being left behind). At the second location, the loading dock distance was unexpectedly further away but they handled the loading dock and elevator efficiently making as few trips as they could between the truck and unloading. They also had all paperwork ready to sign off to begin the move and close it out and Bryan provided a receipt which was also followed by an emailed receipt from the company. Between Bethaney, Bryan, and Israel, it was an easy moving experience and I would recommend and use them again in the future.read more

HuberWilmot moved us in-state 200 miles away. The packing was very thorough and we found no breakage or damage to our possessions as a result of the move. The movers were careful in pouring rain and spent a lot of time prepping for the move. The move was a very good value and the movers were early at the destination. The owners at Huber Wilmot were extremely flexible, accommodating and always easy to reach. We had a particularly unusual move-we moved out of our home with our move-in date still up in the air. Huber Wilmot handled the storage well and was very flexible with our move in date. We also had other requests like moving around/taking out furniture left by the previous owner. I utilized HuberWilmot Moving & Storage for a local move in December 2020. My process began with Bethaney as my POC and she was excellent. She helped me size up my move and quickly provided a quote. She was available through email, phone, and text and always had a pleasant and kind demeanor. I enjoyed working with her a lot. My move was a bit rushed and we ended up not being able to do it on my original date but they were totally fine with it. On the day of the move, Escobar and Henry called me on their way to my place to give me a heads up. They were with me for 6 hours to pack, move, and unpack and worked hard the entire time. The guys made a good team and made sure they were never idle; Henry would pack and unpack while Escobar loaded and unloaded. I was really dreading the move because of the labor involved but HuberWilmot, especially Bethaney, Escobar, and Henry, made the process super simple and efficient for me and I appreciated that commitment to their work and their customers. HuberWilmot did a fantastic job on my local move this November. Communication and outreach from owners and management before and on the day of the move was excellent. I was a big fan of the walkthrough estimate by the owners which gave me confidence I wouldn't see a last minute bump in price. For the move itself, Napoleon and his team were hard working & courteous throughout the day. I had a few difficult large pieces of furniture and the team handled it all without issue. Made contact on 11/27 to schedule a move for 11/28. Eric Wilmot promptly followed up via a phone call to discuss all the details of the move. He was very professional, confident, and he answered all of my questions. When I hung up the phone with him I knew our personal belongings were in good hands. Our conversation was reinforced and confirmed with a estimate I received via email for review and e-sign. My husband is a Army veteran and Eric gave us a military discount and was able to accommodate our last minute move request. On move day Napolean, Uriel, and Flako showed up not on time but EARLY! Words can't even describe these young men. They were punctual, professional, friendly, and wore masks the entire move. I've never seen movers with this much energy. They handled each piece of furniture with care. They made sure everything was wrapped and unwrapped properly. They were timely and moved with urgency but were careful at the same time. None of our items were damaged. They even assembled our bedroom furniture and assisted with TV dismount. I could go on and on about this company. All I can say is if you are looking for a moving company that is professional and cares then look no further. You can trust them and I highly recommend. We recently needed to schedule a move within a short timeframe, and HuberWilmot really came through for us. Not only could they schedule for our preferred date, but on the day of everything went incredibly smoothly. Napoleon and team meticulously padded and wrapped all of our furniture pieces, and they were able to move even the larger items with ease. They are not the cheapest option out there but they came in on the lower end of the time estimate. They did forget to unload our television legs from the truck, but before we even realized this had happened, Napoleon reached out and let us know he would bring them by our new house. These guys were amazing ! They arrived on time and ready to work. They worked quickly and efficiently. I had 27 large boxes a bunk bed a queen size bed 3 TVs a sofa and a bunch of miscellaneous items. I was moving from a 3rd floor apartment ( no elevator) to a 2nd floor condo (no elevator). They carried everything up and down the stairs with no problems-no damages to anything. All of my furniture was assembled in my new home exactly how I wanted it. I’ve moved 12 times in the last 16 years and have never had a better moving experience. COVID-19 has made the logistics of doing anything complicated and so when I moved this summer some of my personal items remained in my last home while I left. When I called Hubert Wilmot Moving and Storage I assumed my story and request for them to move my things out of my former home, place it into storage, and then deliver to my parents home without me present would be a ridiculous request, but no. They explained their concierge service which was actually created to assist people in my situation. Bethaney, my Concierge was just the person I needed to help me deal with the challenges of removing my things, packing, placing into temporary storage, and then ultimately delivering everything while I was about 3,000 miles away.I’ve never encountered a more friendly, helpful, courteous, and reasonably priced moving company that treated my things (and me) with care to actually alleviate the stress of moving and during such a stressful year. For the service I received I would have expected to pay more than I did.Huge thank you to Bethaney and the Huber Wilmot team!read more

Mistakes happen, and during a big move furniture sometimes gets scratched. Mine did. But I think the real value of a company is in how it handles the situation.After I reported an issue, Eric immediately reached out to me. I got a quote from a reputable furniture company to fix the damage, and he wrote a check right then and there to cover all the costs. He took a picture of the check as evidence that he was putting it in the mail and I received it about 4-5 days later.I am incredibly impressed with both the move and the manager’s response to my issues. There wasn’t any haggling, arguing about fault... I felt supported throughout the entire process.I would definitely use these guys again.read more
