Huber Wilmot Moving made my move from NJ to VA an exceptional experience! Mickey is a rock star, he was transparent and professional, making every... step of the process seamless. As a single woman I genuinely felt comfortable and confident with everyone I interacted with. Moving out of state is a stressful process and although I tend to worry, Mickey and Guillermo communicated with me through any change we had to make. The company confirmed the moving date and arrived on time. They let me known when they were about an hour away and were very helpful. I was throwing out my daughter’s twin mattress and one of the guys ran over to take it to the dumpster for me. Everything was accounted for and their process was efficient which made for no downtime. They did an excellent job and were very punctual with... everything -- from the time they said they'd arrive to start the move to the day and time they said they'd deliver to Winchester. I have frankly been really disappointed with my last moves and this was stellar. The crew was very detailed, had excellent communication skills and were so careful in wrapping and moving all of my possessions. The positive reviews are accurate. Also - if you are storing furniture - don't assume that self storage is the way to go. From the first meeting to discuss in detail what my wife and I had in our home to move, HuberWilmot’s staff provided... the highest quality of customer service I have ever experienced in all my years of having to move. I come from a military career and this was my 54th time moving, so I have many examples to go from with this group. They met with us to explain the process of the move. They did a therough walk through to evaluate what would be moved and how it should be packed and moved from the home.Next, the packers who took on that tasks were all pleasant and energetic in getting the packing done properly and did it quicker than I have ever experienced in the past. There was no sitting around. They were all focused on the mission.The day of the move was a sight to see! The group of young workers worked so well together and orchestrated getting all quickly and safely to their trucks. They were knowledgeable in breaking down what items required disassembling, and once at our new home, they quickly reassembled all that required it. Absolutly Outstanding! Mickey Brooks was very thorough when generating his estimate, which was within 40 pounds. The loading crew was professional,... polite, and efficient. The crew for the unload (also HuberWilmot employees) were the same. The truck was packed well and we experienced no loss/breakage. The price was very reasonable for the work, weight, and distance (Virginia to Florida). Communication through the entire process was constant. Our househod items were NOT combined with another shipment as some movers will do. I cannot recommed them highly enough.read more
