This was by far the best moving experience we have had. We moved from Northern Virginia to North Carolina and hired HuberWilmot for the move. They... were always available to answer questions prior to our move and the young men who did the actual move were very professional. All the furniture was well wrapped and protected. So when we had to ship to Pittsburgh, they were... our first (and only) call.Incredibly responsive and friendly on the phone. The movers were careful with our things, incredibly friendly, and extremely positive. We had two stops at the destination (the apartment and the storage unit) so they happily loaded the storage unit items first so the apartment items would be available to unload first.They happily flexed their arrival window for us when our plans changed unexpectedly. Within 5 minutes of our phone call we received electronic confirmation of the new window, so we felt good there wouldn't be a disconnect in Pittsburgh. We’ve used five moving services over the past 24 months and Huber Wilmot was by far the best value. One moving company emptied a shed and moved it to... a storage unit. They packed things rather sloppily, putting two framed pictures in a garbage bag that was later tossed onto a pile and resulted in broken glass. Another company moved some furniture from our house to a storage unit 2 miles away and charged us around $800. Huber Wilmot moved that storage unit, plus two other similarly sized storage units from northern VA to the Eastern Shore of MD for less than $3,500. I found Huber Wilmot’s staff professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them.read more

Excellent- from scheduling to loading, this company made moving stress free. The professionalism is beyond words. We arranged fir 8:30 am start. ... The crew arrived early and provided a notice that they were on their way with their names. Upon arrival, they introduced themselves and performed a walk thru of the items. They installed rug and floor protection which I wasn’t expecting.I have a 700 pound safe which is not an easy move. The crew moved the safe with a great attitude. We used their services in March of 2022 and just getting around to doing a review. Escobar and his crew facilitated our move, and they were GREAT!... They packed up our large items with care, padded the walls and railings, they also protected their high traffic areas on the floors. They even let me use thier tools so I could wall mount my TV. They were on time and worked in a timely manner. They were reccomended by some friends that used them and I would reccomend them in the future. The price was reasonable as well.read more

This was the best moving experience I’ve ever had. The guys - Jason, Rene, Henry and Ed(?) were friendly, very professional, and really went above... and beyond to ensure my things arrived safely. Excellent move from start to finish. We chose the “Cure for Clutter” option in which a team came to the house prior to our “big” move to remove up to... 2,000 pounds of items and packed them into two wooden shipping containers that they then stored in their warehouse for up to 30 days, all for the price of $525. In my case, that included more than 1,000 lbs of weight lifting equipment from my second floor, 2400 sq foot condo. Removing that clutter allowed Vicky Noufal and her Platinum Group real estate team to optimize our home for showing.We worked out a separate deal for moving the rest of our furniture a few weeks later, just yesterday, in fact. Two trucks showed up with our “Cure for Clutter” containers inside one of them along with 5 very pleasant, energic workman: Uriel, Dennis, Renzo, Oscar, and Dario all worked quickly and efficiently as an orchestrated team to prepare the house (padding on doorways, floor coverings on the stairs and throughout the house), disassemble beds, dressers and mirrors, wrap-up furniture, and carry everything out to the trucks. They also packed several closets full of clothing into three wardrobe containers and carried them and many other boxes that we had packed out to the trucks.The unloading process was just as impressive, delivering all of our furniture and boxes exactly where we wanted them throughout the house. They even cheerfully carried all the weight equipment from the “Cure for Clutter” containers into the basement and placed everything exactly where I asked. When they were finished and cleaning up all the wrappings several of them asked if we wanted anything moved from one room to another now that we had a chance to see everything in the house.I can’t say enough about the team at HuberWilmot. Eric Wilmot, Austin Jacobs, and Renee Brimberg did a great job setting everything up and Uriel, Dennis, Renzo, Oscar, and Dario wasted no time in getting everything moved.
