Huber Wilmot based on the positive reviews I read.Giselle, Christian and Olis recently moved me. This has been BY FAR (I cannot stress this enough) THE BEST moving experience I have had. I have frankly been really disappointed with my last moves and this was stellar. The crew was very detailed, had excellent communication skills and were so careful in wrapping and moving all of my possessions. The positive reviews are accurate. Also - if you are storing furniture - don't assume that self storage is the way to go. Since I don't need access to my furniture - I stored it in the warehouse at Huber Wilmot at a price that was far less than self storage. Thanks to Giselle, Christian and Olis.read more

Mickey was extremely helpful and friendly, and provided an on-site... estimate after visiting the apartment I was moving from. This was the day after I requested an estimate, and during a busy mid-summer period for them and all moving companies. The three guys who moved my belongings on moving day were excellent -- fast, friendly, helpful. The whole job, start to finish, was done in 3.5 hours. This company cost a bit more than a couple of others I looked at, but to me it was well worth it. I'll use them again most likely in the future.read more

This organization is AMAZING! From the first meeting to discuss in detail what my wife and I had in our home to move, HuberWilmot’s staff provided... the highest quality of customer service I have ever experienced in all my years of having to move. I come from a military career and this was my 54th time moving, so I have many examples to go from with this group. They met with us to explain the process of the move. They did a therough walk through to evaluate what would be moved and how it should be packed and moved from the home.Next, the packers who took on that tasks were all pleasant and energetic in getting the packing done properly and did it quicker than I have ever experienced in the past. There was no sitting around. They were all focused on the mission.The day of the move was a sight to see! The group of young workers worked so well together and orchestrated getting all quickly and safely to their trucks. They were knowledgeable in breaking down what items required disassembling, and once at our new home, they quickly reassembled all that required it. They arrive at both locations with the proper materials to safeguard any possible damage within the structure of the homes, and also the proper materials to safely protect all of our home items.I strongly recommend HuberWilmont to any and all who require a home move. This was by far the best moving experience we have had. We moved from Northern Virginia to North Carolina and hired HuberWilmot for the move. They... were always available to answer questions prior to our move and the young men who did the actual move were very professional. All the furniture was well wrapped and protected. This moving company was very professional, easy to work with, affordable, and good at their jobs.Mickey came out to inventory our belongings and... was able to give us an estimate right then and there. You can tell he knows what he is doing and is very polite and professional.The 3 movers we had were awesome. They were prompt, efficient, polite and took extra care to not only pack our belongings like they were their own, but to be careful not to ding up the walls in both our old and new home. They worked HARD, carrying as much as 3-4 boxes on their back at a time and took little breaks.I highly highly recommend this moving company for any and all your moves. Would give 6 stars if I could. We had a great experience with HuberWilmot for a local move in April. So when we had to ship to Pittsburgh, they were... our first (and only) call.Incredibly responsive and friendly on the phone. The movers were careful with our things, incredibly friendly, and extremely positive. We had two stops at the destination (the apartment and the storage unit) so they happily loaded the storage unit items first so the apartment items would be available to unload first.They happily flexed their arrival window for us when our plans changed unexpectedly. Within 5 minutes of our phone call we received electronic confirmation of the new window, so we felt good there wouldn't be a disconnect in Pittsburgh. They showed up exactly when they said they would and happily unloaded everything where needed.If you want a slimy used-car salesman, call the other companies. We’ve used five moving services over the past 24 months and Huber Wilmot was by far the best value. One moving company emptied a shed and moved it to... a storage unit. They packed things rather sloppily, putting two framed pictures in a garbage bag that was later tossed onto a pile and resulted in broken glass. Another company moved some furniture from our house to a storage unit 2 miles away and charged us around $800. Huber Wilmot moved that storage unit, plus two other similarly sized storage units from northern VA to the Eastern Shore of MD for less than $3,500. I found Huber Wilmot’s staff professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them.read more
