They worked very efficiently in getting all of our boxes and furniture packed up and moved to our new building across the town. Huber Wilmot Moving made my move from NJ to VA an exceptional experience! Mickey is a rock star, he was transparent and professional, making every... step of the process seamless. As a single woman I genuinely felt comfortable and confident with everyone I interacted with. Moving out of state is a stressful process and although I tend to worry, Mickey and Guillermo communicated with me through any change we had to make. The company confirmed the moving date and arrived on time. They let me known when they were about an hour away and were very helpful. I was throwing out my daughter’s twin mattress and one of the guys ran over to take it to the dumpster for me. Everything was accounted for and their process was efficient which made for no downtime. I have moved many times in my life and this was by far my best experience. The company was referred to me by my realtor and friends who said Huber Wilmot was the company to use, and I couldn’t agree more. I greatly appreciate Mickey Brooks for his professionalism and expertise for our move. We spent 20 great years in our old home a had valuables that... meant the would to us. This company provides excellent in home etiquette and patience while in home. We had the buyers final walk thru on the same day as our move and there wasn’t a mark left on the walls or the hardwood floors. The HuberWimot company handled our move from Vienna, VA to Winchester, VA in October '24. They did an excellent job and were very punctual with... everything -- from the time they said they'd arrive to start the move to the day and time they said they'd deliver to Winchester. The moving team was very kind and STRONG. They never complained and were all very respectful of our house, belongings, and their other team members. They all operate as a well-oiled and FAST machine. The sales rep Mickey Brooks is one of THE BEST reps I've ever worked with. He was kind and honest, made sure all information was clear, answered questions, anticipated future questions, gave us packing tips, and more. He was also VERY responsive via text, calls and emails. It was an intense move, but HuberWilmot was the calm in the storm! THANK YOU to Mickey, Eric Wilmot, and the moving team assigned to our house! Huber Wilmot based on the positive reviews I read.Giselle, Christian and Olis recently moved me. This has been BY FAR (I cannot stress this enough) THE BEST moving experience I have had. I have frankly been really disappointed with my last moves and this was stellar. The crew was very detailed, had excellent communication skills and were so careful in wrapping and moving all of my possessions. The positive reviews are accurate. Also - if you are storing furniture - don't assume that self storage is the way to go. Since I don't need access to my furniture - I stored it in the warehouse at Huber Wilmot at a price that was far less than self storage. Thanks to Giselle, Christian and Olis.read more

Mickey was extremely helpful and friendly, and provided an on-site... estimate after visiting the apartment I was moving from. This was the day after I requested an estimate, and during a busy mid-summer period for them and all moving companies. The three guys who moved my belongings on moving day were excellent -- fast, friendly, helpful. The whole job, start to finish, was done in 3.5 hours. From the first meeting to discuss in detail what my wife and I had in our home to move, HuberWilmot’s staff provided... the highest quality of customer service I have ever experienced in all my years of having to move. I come from a military career and this was my 54th time moving, so I have many examples to go from with this group. They met with us to explain the process of the move. They did a therough walk through to evaluate what would be moved and how it should be packed and moved from the home.Next, the packers who took on that tasks were all pleasant and energetic in getting the packing done properly and did it quicker than I have ever experienced in the past. There was no sitting around. They were all focused on the mission.The day of the move was a sight to see! The group of young workers worked so well together and orchestrated getting all quickly and safely to their trucks. They were knowledgeable in breaking down what items required disassembling, and once at our new home, they quickly reassembled all that required it. They arrive at both locations with the proper materials to safeguard any possible damage within the structure of the homes, and also the proper materials to safely protect all of our home items.I strongly recommend HuberWilmont to any and all who require a home move. Absolutly Outstanding! Mickey Brooks was very thorough when generating his estimate, which was within 40 pounds. The loading crew was professional,... polite, and efficient. The crew for the unload (also HuberWilmot employees) were the same. The truck was packed well and we experienced no loss/breakage. The price was very reasonable for the work, weight, and distance (Virginia to Florida). Communication through the entire process was constant. Our househod items were NOT combined with another shipment as some movers will do. I cannot recommed them highly enough.read more

This was by far the best moving experience we have had. We moved from Northern Virginia to North Carolina and hired HuberWilmot for the move. They... were always available to answer questions prior to our move and the young men who did the actual move were very professional. All the furniture was well wrapped and protected. All floors and carpeting was also protected and there was no mess left behind on either end. I can't say enough good things about HuberWilmot. HuberWilmot Moving took very good care of me and my family. We have a three-part move. The first part was our daughter's local move, which was... smooth. Then, we moved the contents of our Virginia home into a storage unit before we make the 1000-mile move for my wife and me (plus my sister's separate apartment) to Florida. Most moving companies will not take your plants. The stress and heat of being inside the moving trailer usually causes them to die. Many states do not allow the entry of plants while other states will admit plants under certain conditions. There are some states that have no regulations at all.
