This organization is AMAZING! From the first meeting to discuss in detail what my wife and I had in our home to move, HuberWilmot’s staff provided... the highest quality of customer service I have ever experienced in all my years of having to move. I come from a military career and this was my 54th time moving, so I have many examples to go from with this group. They met with us to explain the process of the move. They did a therough walk through to evaluate what would be moved and how it should be packed and moved from the home.Next, the packers who took on that tasks were all pleasant and energetic in getting the packing done properly and did it quicker than I have ever experienced in the past. There was no sitting around. They were all focused on the mission.The day of the move was a sight to see! The group of young workers worked so well together and orchestrated getting all quickly and safely to their trucks. They were knowledgeable in breaking down what items required disassembling, and once at our new home, they quickly reassembled all that required it. They arrive at both locations with the proper materials to safeguard any possible damage within the structure of the homes, and also the proper materials to safely protect all of our home items.I strongly recommend HuberWilmont to any and all who require a home move. This is our LAST move, but if it was needed, I would definitely go back with them.read more

So when we had to ship to Pittsburgh, they were... our first (and only) call.Incredibly responsive and friendly on the phone. The movers were careful with our things, incredibly friendly, and extremely positive. We had two stops at the destination (the apartment and the storage unit) so they happily loaded the storage unit items first so the apartment items would be available to unload first.They happily flexed their arrival window for us when our plans changed unexpectedly. Within 5 minutes of our phone call we received electronic confirmation of the new window, so we felt good there wouldn't be a disconnect in Pittsburgh. We’ve used five moving services over the past 24 months and Huber Wilmot was by far the best value. One moving company emptied a shed and moved it to... a storage unit. They packed things rather sloppily, putting two framed pictures in a garbage bag that was later tossed onto a pile and resulted in broken glass. Another company moved some furniture from our house to a storage unit 2 miles away and charged us around $800. Huber Wilmot moved that storage unit, plus two other similarly sized storage units from northern VA to the Eastern Shore of MD for less than $3,500. I found Huber Wilmot’s staff professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them.read more

Wow-Wonderful experience! The team that helped me move last week (9-29) was professional, careful, efficient, and friendly!! Thank you to the Best... moving team who all worked together seamlessly: Cristian, Oscar, Olis and Norma. You guys made this whole huge 8 hour move easy and fun. Thanks for being so careful with all the larger items and the piano and getting everything set back up just perfect as you thoroughly wrapped and packed furniture and carefully brought it in. I had the best experience with your movers on Monday. They were on time, wrapped everything thoroughly and moved quickly. On top of that we moved... into my new house in an absolute monsoon!. The street was flooded and there was mud everywhere (new construction site). Oran, Otis and Christian managed to move everything in and not get a single drop of mud or water anywhere!. I highly recommend this company! My move was amazingly stress free. These guys were organized, careful with my things, thoroughly wrapped and... protected my furniture, packed the truck in a way that guaranteed my things would arrive to my new place unscathed. Very friendly guys. One extra note to add: I also requested they deliver some of my things to a storage unit. When they arrived there, they very quickly reorganized my really small unit and managed to fit some of my bulky furniture and some fragile boxes into the unit in a way that still allows me to walk into the unit, find things and even add a few things if necessary. It really blew me and my sisters away. One of the best decisions I made all year was hiring this company. :-)read more

I can't say enough about my positive experience with this moving company. I had to move items in 2 waves from Dumfries to Herndon, in Dec 2022 and... in May 2023. Luckily Jexon/Jason with HuberWilmot worked both of my moves and was pleasant to work with. Excellent- from scheduling to loading, this company made moving stress free. The professionalism is beyond words. We arranged fir 8:30 am start. ... The crew arrived early and provided a notice that they were on their way with their names. Upon arrival, they introduced themselves and performed a walk thru of the items. They installed rug and floor protection which I wasn’t expecting.I have a 700 pound safe which is not an easy move. The crew moved the safe with a great attitude. I also have 150 year old antiques and none were damaged. The gentlemen were so sensitive to the surroundings that no damage to walls not even scuff marks. How can you move furniture and not ding a wall? I have moved numerous times and highly recommend this company.read more

We used their services in March of 2022 and just getting around to doing a review. Escobar and his crew facilitated our move, and they were GREAT!... They packed up our large items with care, padded the walls and railings, they also protected their high traffic areas on the floors. They even let me use thier tools so I could wall mount my TV. They were on time and worked in a timely manner. They were reccomended by some friends that used them and I would reccomend them in the future. The price was reasonable as well.read more
