Absolutly Outstanding! Mickey Brooks was very thorough when generating his estimate, which was within 40 pounds. The loading crew was professional,... polite, and efficient. The crew for the unload (also HuberWilmot employees) were the same. The truck was packed well and we experienced no loss/breakage. The price was very reasonable for the work, weight, and distance (Virginia to Florida). Communication through the entire process was constant. Our househod items were NOT combined with another shipment as some movers will do. I cannot recommed them highly enough.read more

The team from HuberWilmot Moving & Storage went above and beyond with our out of state move from Raleigh, NC to the DC area. They packed our heavier... items and artwork with meticulous care. HW crew was great! I had the same crew twice and each time the men went right to work. Didn’t waste time, listened to my instructions on the... placement of the boxes and furniture. This was by far the best moving experience we have had. We moved from Northern Virginia to North Carolina and hired HuberWilmot for the move. They... were always available to answer questions prior to our move and the young men who did the actual move were very professional. All the furniture was well wrapped and protected. All floors and carpeting was also protected and there was no mess left behind on either end. I can't say enough good things about HuberWilmot. This probably sounds too good to be true and like I was paid to write the review - but they really were that good! Austin did our initial estimate. HuberWilmot Moving took very good care of me and my family. We have a three-part move. The first part was our daughter's local move, which was... smooth. Then, we moved the contents of our Virginia home into a storage unit before we make the 1000-mile move for my wife and me (plus my sister's separate apartment) to Florida. You can tell he knows what he is doing and is very polite and professional.The 3 movers we had were awesome. They were prompt, efficient, polite and took extra care to not only pack our belongings like they were their own, but to be careful not to ding up the walls in both our old and new home. They worked HARD, carrying as much as 3-4 boxes on their back at a time and took little breaks.I highly highly recommend this moving company for any and all your moves. Would give 6 stars if I could. We had a great experience with HuberWilmot for a local move in April. So when we had to ship to Pittsburgh, they were... our first (and only) call.Incredibly responsive and friendly on the phone. The movers were careful with our things, incredibly friendly, and extremely positive. We had two stops at the destination (the apartment and the storage unit) so they happily loaded the storage unit items first so the apartment items would be available to unload first.They happily flexed their arrival window for us when our plans changed unexpectedly. Within 5 minutes of our phone call we received electronic confirmation of the new window, so we felt good there wouldn't be a disconnect in Pittsburgh. They showed up exactly when they said they would and happily unloaded everything where needed.If you want a slimy used-car salesman, call the other companies. We’ve used five moving services over the past 24 months and Huber Wilmot was by far the best value. One moving company emptied a shed and moved it to... a storage unit. They packed things rather sloppily, putting two framed pictures in a garbage bag that was later tossed onto a pile and resulted in broken glass. Another company moved some furniture from our house to a storage unit 2 miles away and charged us around $800. Huber Wilmot moved that storage unit, plus two other similarly sized storage units from northern VA to the Eastern Shore of MD for less than $3,500. I found Huber Wilmot’s staff professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them.read more

These guys were organized, careful with my things, thoroughly wrapped and... protected my furniture, packed the truck in a way that guaranteed my things would arrive to my new place unscathed. Very friendly guys. One extra note to add: I also requested they deliver some of my things to a storage unit. When they arrived there, they very quickly reorganized my really small unit and managed to fit some of my bulky furniture and some fragile boxes into the unit in a way that still allows me to walk into the unit, find things and even add a few things if necessary. Excellent- from scheduling to loading, this company made moving stress free. The professionalism is beyond words. We arranged fir 8:30 am start. ... The crew arrived early and provided a notice that they were on their way with their names. Upon arrival, they introduced themselves and performed a walk thru of the items. They installed rug and floor protection which I wasn’t expecting.I have a 700 pound safe which is not an easy move. The crew moved the safe with a great attitude. I also have 150 year old antiques and none were damaged. The gentlemen were so sensitive to the surroundings that no damage to walls not even scuff marks. How can you move furniture and not ding a wall? I have moved numerous times and highly recommend this company.read more

We used their services in March of 2022 and just getting around to doing a review. Escobar and his crew facilitated our move, and they were GREAT!... They packed up our large items with care, padded the walls and railings, they also protected their high traffic areas on the floors. They even let me use thier tools so I could wall mount my TV.
