This company was absolutely wonderful from stem to stern, starting from the service I received when I booked the move in the first place. They showed up on time and also completed the move on time. They took a great deal of effort to protect the furniture—much more than using the average wrapping technique. They troubleshot the tough pieces and were able to get everything in. Moreover, they kept adding things to the load as long as I kept asking. Huber Wilmot is the best, by far, moving service I have used in the area. I can’t give them enough stars.read more

I highly recommend HuberWilmot. Great customer service - everyone was responsive, friendly and helpful. I was given clear communication of what to expect during the entire process. They arrived at 8am sharp, the time discussed, and efficiently packed and loaded the truck with extreme care. Our move consisted of different stops, which included a partial pack and pickup at our house, a stop at our storage unit, and then to the HuberWilmot storage facility for temporary storage. The reviews don’t lie! I’ve used every other moving company and they are all the same. (Reason I Change moving companies every time I move) they came in and started to rock n roll! They protected the house as if it was there’s. Furniture wrapped top to bottom not just a pad thrown on it like the the other companies . TL;DR Great value, hard-working & efficient workers with respect for belongings and home. Highly recommend.I had a last-minute change of moving companies and Huber Wilmot was up to the task. We had a very long, steep driveway at the point of origin and the movers were excellent. I rented a UHAUL van to shuttle items up the driveway so the move took a long time (approximately seven hours to load). The crew of six were careful and professional and even carried larger items up the driveway on their backs, which was very impressive. The crew leader Napoleon was very efficient and made sure to keep things moving at a quick pace.One thing I want to mention that could get better is that some of the workers seemed to need help reading clearly marked boxes for where to place them in the new house. I tried to make sure that those workers always had me next to them to direct them to the right place. On occasion when I had to be somewhere else, I noticed boxes in the completely wrong place, sometimes in the basement when they belong on the 2nd floor. I'm not sure if it was a language barrier, illiteracy, or carelessness but that is the only criticism I have of the crew's work, which is pretty awesome for a move of my size - one full 26' truck and one half-full 20' truck.I have only found one broken item and it was made of particle board, which Napoleon tried to fix at the end of the move. I can't speak highly enough of him and his work ethic.Make sure you have a Spanish dictionary or Google Translate handy! Napoleon and one other person spoke English well, but if I had to speak with the others I tried my best at what I remembered from high school Spanish class.Overall, the value I got was better than any other hourly quote I received and they did it in less time than I had anticipated. There was a $200 truck fee for each truck and then for a six man crew on a Sunday, it was $280 per hour and they worked almost non-stop (short break for food after loading was complete) for twelve hours straight.I highly recommend Huber Wilmot and will recommend them to anyone who asks.read more

From the initial contact from HuberWilmot Moving & Storage they were top notch! Fast responses, very thourough with responses, and they got us in quick for a move to storage with my first choic date! Then on moving day "G" and "JJ" were our moving crew and they were super hard workers and extremely careful with our home and property. The care they took wrapping blankets, shrink rap etc around our household items was amazing. Having gone through near a dozen military moves, I've seen a wide range of movers and these guys are THE BEST! Highly recommend them.read more

HuberWilmot did an amazing job on my move from DC to Brooklyn. I never used movers before but knew I needed help on my interstate move, and I am glad I did. Escobar and Henry arrived right on time, worked quickly and took great care in wrapping all my things. In Brooklyn we had a bit of a hard time with parking, but they still made it work and were so fast and efficient, and professional the whole time. Definitely use these guys for any move!read more

Cannot recommend this moving company more highly! Everyone I spoke with at HuberWilmot was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, especially Bethaney who helped me book the move. The folks who did the actual packing and loading the truck were unbelievably thorough. Everything was packed well and arrived with zero damage. I've moved a lot and this was the best job anyone has ever done packing my stuff. There ended up being some delays with the drop off (due to weather) and a couple of things missing and Eric was always super responsive and reimbursed me for my missing items right away. You really can't go wrong with HuberWilmot - they do an amazing job and if there does happen to be any issues/questions, they solve them ASAP.read more

I had a local move from a single family home to townhome. Lots of stairs and heavy furniture. The crew, led by wonderful Napoleon, took the time to protect my homes with flier and wall coverings etc. They were beyond excellent and I cannot say enough wonderful things! The team that helped us move was amazing! They took care of our furniture and belongings as if it were their own. They took the time to wrap door frames and lay down special mats to protect the floors. They were quick and efficient and took so much stress off of the move. I am at a loss as to how to describe what a wonderful experience I had with HuberWilmot. From the first call through final delivery, they were professional, courteous and thoughtful. I was a "problem child" client with delays due to icy weather, but everybody just took the changes with a smile. They demonstrated an old-school work ethic: calling ahead of time, showing up early, offering to stay late to make sure I was happy with everything. Not a scratch on my property or home. As individuals, Escobar's team were not only rock stars at moving, but were very kind -- going the extra mile on what was a long day given the drive between the two locations. The whole moving process with HuberWilmot was wonderful. Bethaney initially helped generate a very accurate quote and gave some context to the move. Eric sent a confirmation closer to the date to ensure everything was all set. On moving day, Jacob, Wilmur, and Jonathan were on time, efficient, and helpfuI. Great experience all around. Eric was super helpful and accommodating to an earlier start time of 7 AM. The two guys were there and ready at 6:50 AM and got everything loaded and unloaded during an ice storm in a reasonable time. They kept the place clean with their mats in our new place, kept all furniture safe and did a great job with a few pieces they had to reassemble. Price was comparable to everywhere else I got a quote, it is expensive but nothing unexpected. Again to have them do the work they did during an ice storm it was very much worth the money. I can only speak to a move from an apartment to a condo 10 miles away but if you are looking for movers these are your guys.read more
